Background

Section of small estate distribution, Department Of Director General Of Lands And Mines (Federal) (JKPTG) was established on March 1, 1974 on the awareness and sensitivity of the government to the difficulties faced by the people of the middle and lower classes to resolve the problem of the estate which of net assets valuation not exceeding RM2, 000,000.00. At the beginning, the role of section is more on helping tasks performed by the administration of the District Land Office. However this role has evolved when JKPTG decided to increase the number of Units throughout the peninsula from 11 units to 36 units as present.


Objective

  • Ensure the Management of Small Estate Distribution is conducted fairly, quickly and efficiently.


Strategy

  • Increase the ability to resolve the application as well as provide awareness to the legal heirs to immediately apply for small estate distribution.
